Your project

What’s on the horizon?

Every site has its own story. Choose the option closest to your project and tell us what you’re planning — we’ll discuss the surveying you need.

Something else in mind, or not sure where it fits? We’d still like to hear about it.

Getting started

A little detail makes for a better start.

You don’t need to have everything worked out. Sharing these four things helps us understand your enquiry and get back to you with the right questions.

  1. Share the site address

Street address and suburb, plus the lot and DP numbers if you have them — they’re often on your rates notice or title.

  2. Explain your goals

What are you hoping to do, and what stage is the project at? Include any instructions from your designer, builder or council.

  3. Send relevant plans

Drawings, previous survey plans or a written brief all help. You can attach them to your email enquiry.

  4. Tell us your timing

Let us know when you’d like the work done and any deadlines you’re working towards.

Common questions

Before we get started.

Can’t see your question here? Give us a call or include it in your enquiry.

I’m not sure what kind of survey I need. Where do I start?

Start by telling us what you’re trying to achieve. Include the property address and any instructions you’ve received from your designer, builder, council or solicitor, and we’ll talk through what your project needs.

Why does it matter that you’re registered?

In New South Wales, only a registered land surveyor can define and identify property boundaries. Stoneridge Surveying is led by Sean Castelli, a registered land surveyor.

You can learn more from the Board of Surveying and Spatial Information NSW.

What should I include in my quote enquiry?

Your contact details, the site address (with lot and DP numbers if you have them), a short description of your project and your preferred timing. If you have drawings or a written brief, attach them to your email before you send it.

How much will my survey cost?

Every site and project is different, so we’ll need to understand the scope, the land and the outcome you need before giving a price. Send through your details and we’ll prepare a quote for your project.

How long will it take?

That depends on the type of work, the site and current bookings. Let us know about any deadlines in your enquiry and we’ll discuss realistic timing when we quote.

Do you work outside the Southern Highlands?

We’re happy to hear about sites beyond the Southern Highlands. Send through the location and details, and we’ll let you know whether we can help with your particular site.

Can I send plans or other documents?

Yes. Our enquiry form prepares an email in your own email app, so you can attach drawings, previous survey plans or a brief before you press send. You can also email them directly to admin@stoneridgesurveying.com.au.
